So, I take it that the "take profit" and "stop loss" orders for an open position are on the trade server?

Provided that all of those are done by the normal terminal input panels, those are all tracked by the trade server. The only one that is not is the trailing stop which is tracked by the terminal.

Yes, I have stated that at the very beginning, but your initial question seemed to imply that you ware using EAs to manage "virtual" stops as you mentioned "infinite" risk.

If you are placing the stops via the normal panel, then those are real broker side stops.
