Added activations for purchased Market products following Windows 11 Version 22H2 Update release
This appears to be for MT5 products only
Our MT4 purchases have not been incremented in 2022
Also, some MT5 products have been incremented by two since Jan 2022 whereas others have just one extra activation

this has always been a known issue. But it is just behavour of how the market licence(s) work. It is clearly described in both the agreements of the market AND many, many threads this is discussed over the just as many years. The moderators are quick to say that after every major update, that activations are automaticly added to accounts, however, this is not true.
If you have issue with it, like some of us do, then, simply do not buy anything from there. SIMPLE. But do not expect mq to change their licencing any time soon, as I like others have complained over the years, and so many more buyers continue to either not care, or whinge every now and then, and just dont buy anymore for a short time.

Yes, because this upgrade changed your unique Windows ID, which is the basis for the licensing system.
And using a new Windows ID is technically the same as using a new computer that also comes with a different ID.

You need to login into your MQL5 account in MT4 >> Tools >> Options >> Community with your thesnowman login and then go to the Terminal window >> Market tab >> Purchased to install afresh your purchases.
If you can't do that, check the Journal tab of your MT4 terminal for any 'authorization failed' messages and that you have remaining activations in your purchases: https://www.mql5.com/en/users/thesnowman/market

Microsoft has released a major update to the eleventh version of their operating system: Windows 11 2022 Update, version 22H2. This update affects configurations and encryption keys, just like when installing a new operating system.
In order to protect Market products, the MetaTrader platform binds all data to the operating system and hardware of the computer on which it is installed. Unfortunately, the update will make the launch of previously installed and activated Market applications impossible. Such applications will require a new activation.
We have added one activation for each purchased product that was installed on Windows 11. It means that Market users will not lose product activations after the system update. If previously downloaded demo products have been deactivated, please re-download them from the Market.
