A win-win forex trading system. First test round. - page 2

Is this a discussion of what? If a trading strategy - then you need to make the first post and immediately show which indicators on which timeframes, on which symbols and with which settings are used. A screenshot of the terminal chart is very desirable.

If it is a ready-made trading strategy, then the open MQL5 code should be published - then everyone can simulate and test the strategy.

The man wants to share an opinion. How right he is. Let him hear the opinions of the old-timers, and then the namesake will make a branch. Give it some time.

The strategy uses the following trading techniques:

- loco
- averaging
- martingale
- Free margin (deposit)

0% Algotrading

The essence is as follows:

We open lots on several instruments.

When the instrument has jumped too far to one side, we cover the profitable side and 'average'/'break' this instrument to the profit side.

Decisions which lots to place and where, when to cover, to average, to increase a lot, to add margin, etc. - Depends on account manager.

Goal: to make one round of Tracks with Profit.
There are 3 instruments in one lot at the moment.

1 round of Tracks with Profit = close all positions in your account, and take Profit.

Details, notes, arguments, criticism ->
in comments.

I do not understand why I need to open orders in different directions, while there are places where you can open in one direction.

Here is the current market situation on EURUSD

@Vladimir Karputov

This branch is a discussion of one approach to trading. The key element - the lock. It may be placed randomly on any symbol and timeframe. Indicators are not used.

Locks are opened only after the free margin has been added. Working on closing the profit part of a position for a symbol starts after the margin has been added. How much margin should be added, the reasons, variants of getting out of deficit, etc. - as the situation develops.

All remarks and critics are welcome. Perhaps in this thread I will be able to assemble some TS and turn it into a code.

It is possible that most of the used methods and approaches will be excluded and something will be added.

It's already interesting the comments that are given. But not all at once. The circle has just begun)

P.S. Screenshots, account and position actions (with comments) - as things develop.

It is good that TC has opened such a branch. It is possible to discuss all the negative aspects of trading in financial markets. I will start the trading session with the participation of the Managers of the centre.

Bullshit! A draining strategy

Bullshit! A losing strategy
The locks are opened with the minimum lot. If you add margin, even a scalp on a flat, you can go to the plus total and not cover lots at all (neither plus nor minus). Or work out the minus part and close this side, and leave the plus side and let profits flow.

It depends on the situation. Locke and all the other methods are not so bad) Let's see how it all works out in the end and what useful things can be learned.

There's not just one strategy, but several. Locke - as a guide to where, in which direction and how to work.

Lock is a loss of spread, and most importantly, loss of working time.

And the correct choice of the price direction reduces the risk of being stuck in one place.

The current momentum compared to my previous post.

Lock - increasing balance, but losing equity.

Then it is better to work with a hedge, at least there is a chance to win.
