How sad it is... - page 4

Georgiy Merts:

What else do you want in a GUI?

Personally, I don't see the point of a GUI for robots at all... I don't care if you have a hundred accounts...

By the way, it's true - there was no shouting about GUIs when there was MT4...

Now there's a lot of hysteria...

"Debugging in semi-automatic mode" is a very controversial thing. As practice shows, "catching patterns" in semi-automatic mode is useless. If you catch it here, it will be quite different elsewhere. It is much more reasonable to start testing in the full time interval, and look at the results to see how it works. Semiautomatic only for debugging codes themselves may be useful, when something does not work the way you expect, but for the sake of one-time code debugging to set up a whole GUI?

Anyway, I have a request to the author:

Express in words what you would like from a GUI, and justify the increase in profit when using it.

I think that if you do, you will find people who will do everything for you.

Why do you want it from him? Do you realise that the man is just "throwing poo"?

There is a large graphic library by Anatoly Kajarsky, there is a standard library, which gives all the tools to create your own designs, everything has been explained and explained...
But the man doesn't read anything, doesn't want to read, doesn't listen, doesn't want to listen, and shows himself to be a cushy young lady.

Why would you want that from him? Do you realise that the man is just "throwing poo"?

There is a large graphics library by Anatoly Kozharsky, there is a standard library that contains all the tools to create your own designs, all long ago written and explained...
But the man doesn't read anything, doesn't want to read, doesn't listen, and shows himself to be a cushy young lady.

That's clear.

But, in my opinion, it is still desirable to motivate people to come to enlightenment on their own. Especially since "alternatives" may occur, as in the case of Peter Konov. If he proposed something that actually increases profits from his GUI-library - I'm sure there would be many followers.

The problems of all those who "demand to reinvent the wheel" (not even the inventors of the wheel) is not only that no real increase in profits is demonstrated when the required is provided, but even in the absence of any attempt to justify it in any way.

I have already told Peter Konov - show us at least some possibility of increasing the income, and people will be attracted to you ... Peter only showed me how to use his interface.

The same thing is going on here. A man comes in indignant that "there is no graphic tool that he would have needed. Good! He doesn't like either the Standard Library or Kajarsky's library. Well, let him set forth his demands, and most importantly, at least somehow justify the increase in revenue resulting from the adoption of his proposal. And immediately he will be able to see everything. If he came just to spit at everyone, that will be the end of it. If he has something to offer, he will be like Peter Konov, who will be interested. But if he also shows the possibility of increasing profits, there will be many people interested.

In my TS-League there are absolutely concrete examples of systems that have been working successfully on the demo for more than a year, and I am not making a secret of the principles - they are all very simple, I just regularly update them, and post reports... and still people are not happy.

But anyway, it's better to motivate sceptics to make some constructive suggestions than to say "cut the crap", even if they come here just to throw crap.

You see, the thing is... He doesn't read. But he's not satisfied. Anything you show him, I haven't read, but I judge...

Artyom Trishkin:

You see the whole point... He doesn't read. But he's not happy with it. Whatever you show him - I haven't read it, but I condemn it...

2 Put into words what you would like from a GUI and justify the increase in profit when using it
.

When there was no GUI in MT4, I and others made primitive homemade gimmicks which made life a little easier.
When MT4 had a GUI, I mastered it instantly and was very happy. I really needed it.
As for the interface in Five, it was really sad.
I woke up today (not on purpose) at 3:30 am, I needed something to do, so I decided to adapt my latest EA to MT5.
By 15:00 everything was ready (without repeated mentioning of somebody's mother again).
So? Well, what a bummer. On a demo account button processing is terribly slow. It is times faster to set a standard pending order than to draw a line of a virtual order at pressing a button.
And in the Strategy Tester it is a total mess. The only thing that displays info, while the robot cannot be controlled. The graphics is turning into pornography and is really useless in the visual mode of the tester.
What a load of crap. More than a year has passed and nothing has changed.

2. I don't know who it is addressed to, but I will speak for myself:
- Virtual orders, TP and SL allow us to completely ignore stop levels. And some brokerage companies (Eksness, for example) have good trading conditions compensated by stop levels at the most "nice" pairs. In the last modification of the robot I added virtual TP and SL especially for them.
- Permanent monitoring of the current settings and change them in real time.
- Yes, it does. The graphics will really increase your chances to make a good profit. If someone uses scalping, it is irreplaceable.

I wanted to publish this trading robot at first. But I was not sure if it would be worth it. I would not know whether it is worth publishing. The demo downloaded from the Market will work only in tester.
Unless the Discussion tab originally contains a variant of the owl that works on a demo account.

After drawing/rendering chart events, you need to callChartRedraw(); then there will be no lag, this is a feature of the platform

You just don't understand how to handle chart updates properly. In four, each object redraws a chart. In five, you need to update it once yourself after completing ALL of the constructions. And that's exactly right.

just 5pc is not 4pc and far from VisualBasic

You can't write it in a couple of hours to work the way it was designed by MT5 developers

at this stage, the programming language has rubbed you the wrong way, which makes you sad
