What prevents you from introducing an interpretation of the term Point, Pip (Percentage of Point, often referred to as Point) and the MT Point function into the official reference?
This will solve everything at once.
How you all, dull-witted, have been confused by introduction of increase in accuracy of quotation tenfold. It has turned your mind sideways, and your thought processes have stopped.
And how wonderfully the advertisers are profiting from it.
And here for such - feeble-minded, and began to write small figures - that your world absolutely has not collapsed. To keep you afloat somehow, they gave you a lifesaving twig.
So you all make up your own theories for yourselves.
Look - there are at least two opposing versions of "pips", and everyone believes in them.
It is like the Creator is the only one, they invented a lot of names for him. And holy wars ensued...
This is exactly the problem if you look at the given from your - invented - point of view.
And from our point of view - from the point of view of people who operate with numbers - there is no problem at all.
There is a problem only when you get a crazy customer with his own vision of items. And it can be solved by finding out what he really wants and adding some extra calculations to make it visible to him. But on the inside, it's all the same in our way - the right way.
Well, my "feeble mind" doesn't allow me to "run numbers" -- is that what you're saying?
Your "strong mind" does allow you to "run numbers" -- you bet your ass.
But it's not about "brains," which is what your "brains" can't do.

We'll solve it right away.
Because this is a software help, not a primer on everything for nerds.
Because it's a software reference, not a guide to everything for the nouveau riche.
Dimitri, try not to despise your customers - they are paying you money.

Well, my "weak mind" doesn't allow me to "run numbers" -- is that what you're saying?
But your "strong brain" allows you to "run numbers" -- you're sure of that.
But it's not about "brains," which is what your "brains" can't do.
It used to be 1.1234.
Now it's 1.12345.
Previously, a one point price increase = 1.1235.
Price increase by one point now = 1.12346
To prevent the brain of those who never understood the increased accuracy of quoting, they began to write: the spread of 0.1 point. And it is perceived as a good thing. But in fact - it is the spread of 1 point. But because it was so unclear to you, you have introduced pips - small points equal to 0.1 point. And then everything fell into place for you - everything was in four digits, and so it remained. But you have introduced a new concept - a pipsic - such a small pip, and who does not understand - he is an amateur.
I can suggest, as a fairly good psychologist by nature, that associativity plays an important role here. Point is consonant with "Boo", pips is consonant with "Pi". Which is psychologically perceived as more dangerous, bigger and more solid?
And such theories, based on associations and perceptions - well, do not roll, sorry... That's for the katenkos.
It used to be 1.1234
It is now 1.12345.
Price increase of one point before = 1.1235
Price increase by one pip now = 1.12346

I can also come up with a theory - someone at MQ made a mistake with the concepts, started writing "pips" instead of"points" in the terminal and on the website, and now there's no way out, you need to stand up for your mistake or you might lose your job).

Not 0.1 pip, but 0.01. And a pip (figure) necessarily has something material. Usually a dollar, but in forex it's a cent.
Artem, you are not at all familiar with the subject area.
