Mt4 demo acct. behind from real time?

Hello guys, I've been on a demo account since Jan 13, being mentored by my uncle.
I had a big loss, showed my uncle the screen shot and he stated his chart looked different compared to mine.

He called me, told me to take a screenshot at the same time as him to see the difference.

We live in the same town, if that helps.

He doesn't know what to do, whats the cause, or how to fix it. Needless to say, me neither. Lol

I was hoping if maybe somebody here can guide me.

Below are screenshots of our charts. Mine is the one with black background.

It does not matter if you live in the same town or not. What matters is if you are using the same broker and the same type of account.

Forex is not a centralised market. Different brokers can have different quote prices, different contract specifications and have different trading conditions.

Hello, thank you for your response.

Okay, I can understand that.
But shouldn't the bars/candles look the same, regardless?

My chart (black background) shows that it is behind, compared to my uncle's chart.

Did I not just state: "Different brokers can have different quote prices, different contract specifications and have different trading conditions"?

Are you using the same brokers as your uncle?

Are you using the same account type as your uncle?
