When you have two oppositely open orders for the same instrument on the "TRADING" tab, then you have a lock.

And when it is not, it is not.

Have you heard about the essence of operations?

Or is visualization the basis of your worldview?

Lock is the opposite deals. and it is not the essence of their life time.

Opposite transactions are the essence of "trading" in MT.

You said - it's not kasher.

Did you say it's not kasher to trade in MT4?

Or did I miss something?

i.e. if you have sold a car you bought before, for example, you are in a lock? :)

not only MTs have this feature at reputable brokers.... Lock is in the head - the terminal has nothing to do with it.

Like I drove a couple of years ago in a previously bought car into a five-hundred-pounder from behind, I'll tell you that was a lock then!
 

And lock, to me, is a state of equilibrium when the volume of sell orders and buy orders are equal, i.e. the net position is zero.

That's where I started. About the dealer arrow a couple of pages ago.

i.e. if you don't understand net position and methods of control you can of course be told a fable about "unpredictable and criminally induced" bank losses of 2 billion.
