the sample is small, there are a lot of deals, it doesn't look like a grail
well, 1100 trades in 2.5 months is not 100 trades in a year. and september and november are not the best periods for an EA... i would even say one of the worst.... If I'd had such an expert a year and a half ago, with one percent MM of balance and limited lot... Like on demo servers - the numbers are getting not even 6 digits, but ten orders of magnitude more...

And, of course, when you see a period of profitability you set a huge lot, but it's not very useful. You can do that with almost any Expert Advisor, and you'll see big figures everywhere. Test it since 2003
 
I don't have so much quotes archive, I've been trading on this pair since late 2008 ... The Expert Advisor has undergone many changes, because before the pair was much better!

I'm not trading with my own money, I've learned by bitter experience ... I'm not trading with my own money and I've learned from bitter experience ... Trading with low risk and hence small profitability with a lot of other people's accounts is enough to live on... but steps have been taken towards my own brokerage...

What prevents you from earning again? How many profitable deals have you made out of those that slipped through?

I'm pretty sure you're pipsing, you're coming in from the market on a quote divergence, i.e. you're using non-market quotes.

Server's down... you have to put stops...

And then, you lost 1 time when the server was down, now what is stopping you from earning again? How many profitable trades do you have out of those that slip through?
