No, it all depends on the greediness of the volume of the position. Is 500 pips a good stop?
 
Depending on the TF and the range of the take, if it is 50/50 then fine, but if the stop is 500 and the take is 25 then no

Well yes 500 is a bit much, but if 200 for 200 go for 400......???? I had one position in a hedge for more than half a year, then nothing, I closed with a profit :)
