I'm not talking about portfolio editors, I'm talking about portfolio trading.

... In that it is not possible to calculate the results using the built-in MT4 tester. :(

 
The main disadvantage is the lack of a workable portfolio.
 

or accounting for "minuscule nuances" to the final realisation of the portfolio ;)

if you are doing badly - not necessarily everyone is doing the same

it's just that maybe someone will give their perspective for evaluation...
