Sorry for the appearance of this form. I had to filter it. As there are also hands and overnight flat on eurgbp ...
Take your time!!!
An EA will not work properly on the real if the broker is not napping.
Or at least you should be able to control the terminal at all times.
The Expert Advisor does not know how to work with requotes, etc.
It does not know how to check the status and divide trade streams if you put a lot of instruments.
It lacks one more flag - a ban during news releases and sharp speculative fluctuations,
and prohibition to trade in the same direction on the same bar.
There is no failure protection and the correctness of the input parameters is not checked.
I've had a couple of input parameters reset on my demo.
What is this - a joke of the broker - my terminal is from Alpari, or just glitches.
There's also something else missing.
As for the resetting of input parameters - I got such a shit with my EA after build 220, the input parameters were reset to those prescribed in the EA itself, well, let it reset to at least those parameters that I need - and after optimization I simply copied the required parameters into my EA and ran it for a test week ... it is clear that with this approach I will have to make a copy of my EA for each pair or something ...
and yes, by the way - I also have Alpari...

I don't know why I should do that, but it's quite possible that this "bug" appeared in the EA compilation field at a time when it was already sitting on the chart, I had it too.
It's possible that this "bug" appeared during the compilation of the EA, when it was already hanging on the chart, I had it too.
It is true - if the EA is hovering on the chart and you change something in it without taking it off, after compilation, the parameters are reset some time later - but the question is why *** the parameters are reset when you do not make any changes during the EA operation ...dunno
Yes - if the EA is on a chart and you change something in it without removing it, after compiling, parameters are reset after a while - but the question is why *** parameters are reset when you do not make any changes while the EA is running ...dunno
I want to check if my brokerage company has possibility to change parameters or it is a bug of MT4
Sad though...I wonder if the DC's are technically able to "change" the parameters...or is it a bug in MT4
would kill - no, we're talking about resetting, not replacing...
I think it's not a bug, but maybe it's due to update... it's supposed to be like this... but with multicurrency EA this shit is a problem...
... I've had this shit with my EA since the 220 build...
A couple of days after the update I rolled back to 217 and everything's OK.
Three days behind us, what have we got...
Surprises J. In brackets for trailing version
Complete euro failure -452 (-452) in all versions
Euro failure from +380 to +123 (+156)
But the pound yen shined +771 (+828)
The rest :
Frank +199 (+165) Pound +371 (+410) Yen 25(25) kiwi 91(189)
Canadian -135 (-135) EURGBP +146 (+149)
Total for three days +1338 (+1335) equally good
I think the remaining two days are unlikely to lose more than half
With these settings after optimization the Expert Advisor is on demo .
And this is in the tester for a fortnight:
