Probability theory question... - page 2

If the probabilities of Dn are given and constant, then the probability that most of the indicators will point in the right direction is considered.

Yes, set and constant.

How?????

What if the signals are not given by indicators but by people?

What difference does it make?

If the twins are brothers, say buy them, even if there are 10 of them, the probability does not increase.

IMHO, if your indicators are dependent on each other, then probability theory won't give you anything....

Independent.

LeoV correctly said that statistics are needed. Because without it it will not be clear how many times right and how many wrong openings for a given set. That is why the probability is calculated according to the history. There are no difficulties with such analysis.

You should run it through the history and collect all your signals based on them. And then look at how often the superindicator was wrong in order to determine the probability.

If you want to play with parameters of each indicator, just increase the dimension of the array.

The MA fan option is described at https://www.mql5.com/ru/articles/1536.

That's the point, it's not clear how to take into account the "nature" of indicators or people...

Independent.

Are there any of these? (except for 2 - "mashka" and "oscillator")

vizit писал (а) >>

Yes, set and constant.

How?????

Suppose we have 5 indicators, each with probability Dn at each moment shows the correct entry direction. Then let's calculate the probability that most of them (3 out of 5) show correct direction. That is reached by combinations [1,2,3], [1,2,4],...[3,4,5]. You accumulate the probabilities corresponding to these combinations and get the required probability. That is D1*D2*D3 + ... D3*D4*D5.

channels, or rather fractals

channels

"Shifted Mashka" ("averaging the story" and with eyes, formulas, MNCs - doesn't matter. Even "ray across the point" is a mashka)

The task is not actually related to any indicators. It's just for example.
