IMHO, the organisers with such a prize fund could stretch the fun to at least 6 months. Thereby weeding out the aggressors and the lucky ones.
Usually, long trends do not live that long. There would be more stable systems that follow their capital and deeply analyze the market.
And the organizers would be more profitable at the expense of long-term advertising.
Or, under existing conditions, they could add a clause limiting the risk of transactions, for example, not more than 10% of the Free Funds. Then at least there would be no aggressors.

Actually, it's 60 working days. And on top of that, the holidays seem to be in the States closer to New Year's Eve.

Imagine a Formula 1 race with a speed limit of 100 km/h. Can you imagine? ... I can't... It would probably be a boring spectacle. There would be no spectators and no one would see advertisements on billboards and cars.
 
Well, for example, the WRC (World Rally Championship) has a hard limit of 300 horsepower. There may well be a similar restriction in F-1.
That's why I propose a longer distance, to expose unreliable engines that work to wear and tear. Or with a power limit.
There are also races on the same cars. That's where you can find out who is the best driver.
 
Looks like the standings will change dramatically in 8-10 hours!
