Programming - page 5

Yuriy Zaytsev:

To continue the analogy :

One analogy -- have you ever, ever taught anyone?

In a systematic way. With a training program. With results. With an audience. Individually. With statistics on the success of your training methodology.

No? Then don't advise where you are not an expert.

You have advised a person a complete nonsense -- and don't build analogies from my comment of your phrase -- there are none there simply -- because there is no understanding of the issue (from you).

Do you have a channel of direct knowledge open? You know who the expert is?

maybe you're a specialist, a teacher ? or a telepath ?

Navyinvader:

Hello all.

Decided to start programming in MQL5. Can you advise me where to start in order to lead me step by step to writing EAs etc.

I have a very good idea of how to prepare my trading robot, my mql.

If you are only interested in trading and mql, it is one thing.

On the other hand, in some years trading may become less interesting for you, and programming on the contrary. It will be a different business.

Too little input data. Tell us a little about yourself, age, education, what is the level of programming (zero or at school/university something like that). Then it will be easier to give advice to everyone.

If only trading, it's easy - a tutorial at mql4.com.

Andrey F. Zelinsky:

I get the impression that there's no one left here who hasn't been criticised by you.

Yuriy Zaytsev:

You have an open "channel of direct knowledge"? You know who's an expert in what?

From your advice above it's clear -- in terms of learning programming -- you're not an expert.

As for the rest of your capabilities -- I'm not aware of them and have not made any comments.

Yuriy Zaytsev:

I get the impression that there's no one here who hasn't been criticized by you.

That's a false impression - don't be so sensitive.

it's hard to give you examples of my rudeness -- you shouldn't mistake my blunt comments for rudeness -- they are nothing more than an opinion that contradicts another opinion.

p.s. I've made it clear that trolling and booring is, by definition, impossible for me -- a troll and a boor is strictly a team player -- to troll and boor you need a team of singers, nodders and the like -- and I'm a loner.

Besides, it would be hard to give you examples of my boorishness -- my bland comments -- don't take them for boorishness -- they are no more than an opinion that goes against the other opinion.

Talking squirrel. Are we out of peanuts?

oh, oh... Don't take credit for your ability to hurt someone...

--

What kind of clairvoyance is that? It's telepathic.

And of course you're an expert -- a teacher -- a guru ... black belt ... no lower.

Eugene Belyj:
A talking squirrel. Are we out of nuts?
I like a good joke.

Andrey F. Zelinsky:
I like successful jokes.
The losers I sympathise with. Where's the: "It's all sucked out of thin air"?

Yuriy Zaytsev:

oops oops ... Don't take credit for your ability to hurt someone...

you're the one who's always attributing things to me -- why you do it, I don't know -- you probably have nothing better to do -- okay, I'm off, hello.
