When is the new version of MT5 and where do you find out what's expected in it? - page 13

Alexey Volchanskiy:
Why don't you form them as classes that are connected via #include? Copy-paste is the worst possible option of all. You've filled the library or found and corrected a mistake, copy-paste everywhere again?
I've already written above.

comp:

Always for the non-specialist, an archive is handed over, which he has to unpack in the MQL4/5 folder. There is nothing else.

Normally, all binaries are downloaded via WebRequest to the sandbox. This allows to automatically keep all clients with fresh versions of Expert Advisors/indicators. The Expert Advisor and indicator should always be in the sandbox as an mqh-file that is downloaded via WebRequest. And the mq4/5-files should contain only one line - #include this mqh. Then the update of Expert Advisors and indicators is done simply by uploading the appropriate mqh-file to the sandbox

I agree.

Now let me put it delicately: ignorance of a lamer differs from ignorance of a nub with pathological self-confidence.

Why should a coder have to carry the website with updates?

Why should a user who has paid for sources and confidentiality don't bother with web updates?

Why should the client or executor have problems with the script in the Market if they have to buy parts for it somewhere on the net? In addition, commercial scripts will require requests with authorization - this generally prevents distribution through the Market.

That's it in a nutshell. In general, don't change the name of the subdirectory in your sandbox - it fits the idea

I will say no more about it - the topic has gone into the woods

I am seriously confused by wikipedia, can you guys explain the difference between hedging and locking ???

I know, of course, but I feel like I'm way behind the times...

I know, but I feel like I'm way behind current time...

lagging behind the currenttime...

change TimeCurrent() to TimeLocal() should solve the problem...

Hmmm, what if he lives in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky? ))

Nice update, thanks. Reread the whole thread.
If support for mt4 is not as fierce as it is now and mt5 trading at least for old-timers becomes possible to use mt5 as well as mt4. Then everyone will gradually switch to mt5. The programmer will certainly have more work. Those who are writing on mt5 easily - everything will be fine.

As for the possibility to press the indicator buttons in the tester, it was a long time ago, wasn't it? Or now it is finally possible to take panels in the form of Expert Advisors in the tester? A prize will be delighted. The one-click simulator in the tester will return to its service.

Or is it just a dream? Eh now how to test their tick bots.

How many years have we all been riding MQ's ears about the need to add hedging to MT5? Since the release of MT5, in my opinion. And MQ represented by Renat answered firmly - it will never happen!

But the reasons of reason, or rather lost profits won over the national stubbornness of the founding fathers of MQ )) As soon as my brokers have hedged accounts - I'm off to A.

I think now will be the heyday of 5 and the gradual sunset of 4, which will be left to the weakest DCs.

I have always been able to press buttons in the tester. No OnChart processing in the tester. This is about 4, not sure about 5.

Maybe this is such a trademark MQ tactic ?

Say NO until ALL arguments have been exhausted. Otherwise, if you say YES and agree at once, then you can miss out, something very important. )))
