The three-screen system is 100% performance to the upside. - page 2

Vladislav Andruschenko:
Here's a cool picture. Seen it a hundred times and still like it.
It gets the point across

I remember Edler's 3-screen advisors and indices used to be written. Then we abandoned this business. Now a new one).

The main thing is that it works. And everything is visual... The question is how long.

Petr Baskakov:
The main thing is that it works. And it's all clear... the question is how long.

In summer, longer. Less in winter.

You just have to use different parameters, though.

Petr Baskakov:

Write an advisor-test it.

Rumour has it that it works no better or worse than any other rubbish system. Everything depends on parameters, just like everywhere else.

I think this is what happens with all TA-based systems, without exception, they all work with periods.

Ivan Vagin:
This happens with all systems based on TA, without exception, they work in periods, one of the tasks of trading with TA is to keep track of periods of profitability of one or another TS.
This is where the problem arises - the period of profitability is the same time of trend and to determine this trend and assume how long it will last sometimes not a bit easier than for an instrument)

For some TS, it is the trend time, while for others it is the flat time... For example, you can calculate the equity of two systems on a demo and use this data for Ma, for example, the Ma with higher signals of that TS and take it to the real trading ... no big deal...

Alexey Busygin:
The main thing shows the essence

The bottom line is that the truth can be spun however you like.

Let's spin it:

;))

Ivan Vagin:
For some TS, it is the trend time, for other TS, it is the flat time, you can calculate the equity of two systems on a demo chart and use this data for example, the one with higher prices, and mark it on the real deal ... no big deal...

What is the demo for? Now, the strategy tester can be automatically called from an Expert Advisor and receive testing data and include this or that strategy into trading based on the testing parameters.

And in general, why complicate things so much? You can just use charts to display the average, which one is higher - buy, which one is lower - sell...grail.
