Yes, my broker updated to 3210 on Sunday and 3211 today. So hopefully the issue will be gone for everyone soon.

That's not the broker, that's MQ which is controlling that ;-)

I thought that MQL5 only updated platforms that had been downloaded from MQL5.

I have never downloaded from MQL5, only from a broker.

Maybe he means that it is MetaQuotes that mandates when Brokers have to push out the updates.

Yes. I don't know the details but for sure Metaquotes is able to push an update without asking to the broker. They have all under control and it's Metaquotes CDN which is used. I am talking about the client side, the server side is something else of course.
