MT5 external data in the next 1/2 quarter?

Hi,

I have to come a conclusion and I have a simple question for Metaquotes guys:

- Will be possible, to use external history data in MT5, within the next 1 or 2 quarter?

I need a modern platform to trade and back-test my EA. MT4 is too slow when you have to back-test and optimize over 5+ years... MT5 has the right speed, but the limitation in data availability really destroy any possibility to use it.


I would like a simple yes or no answer.

I will accept any answer, but I need more power and if Mt5 can not provide it , I will recode my EA and switch to cTrade/cAlgo.

Thank you, for your fast answer but what does it mean "authoritative"? You are not sure? You are guessing? you are not frm Metaquotes?

I don't work for Metaquotes, so I can't answer for them.

But I am sure at 100% it will not happen.

Why not? If you can share with us naturally. It seams a MT5 dead bell to me...
