I'm new to meta trader and I don't know if this is the right place to ask question? let me know!!

I wrote python script which works with Meta Trader Demo  account (MetaQuotes server) but when I want to use it with my broker account, "Alpari", I couldn't load any data from server.

I checked, the initialization was successful, login was successful, but no data was fetched from server.

And I can use my account and placed order manually, and used charts so data loading was fine

do brokers have restriction on using scripts?
is there any way for them to find out who is using python or something like that?

did I miss something?
