Discussion of article "Why Virtual Hosting On The MetaTrader 4 And MetaTrader 5 Is Better Than Usual VPS" - page 57

hello

I would like to register VPS, but I do not know what data go in the FTP and EMAIL tab: are data that already exist? In that case I do not know where to find them. Or I have to create them at the moment, I do not understand anything about FTP.. Thanks for the help.

Question about limits, I would like to know how many resources are allocated and if my neighbour who rents the service on the same dedicated server exceeds some limits, will it affect me? And another question, let's say some of the processes on my shared hosting, exceeded the allowable load, the process is closed after what time? In general, I would like to know more details about the restrictions. Thank you!

Your neighbour's work will affect you. Here is the response to my service-desk request for a specific issue:

Support Team 2017.10.13 17:36

A review of the situation revealed the following: On the 11th of October at the specified time there was an increased load on the hosting server due to high resource consumption by several users. This could lead to slowdown of the client terminal.

We have moved your hosting to another, more powerful server.

We apologise for the inconvenience.

Sincerely, MQL5.com support service.

No one will give you figures. And the system of resource consumption control works poorly at the moment.

When will a new version of MT5 be released?

I had no idea MetaQuotes would do this with MetaTrader! Fantastic! Once again you're ahead of the competition! The problem with traditional VPSs is the cost, but it's also the quality. If the cost of the MetaTrader server pays off, I'll migrate my experts here for sure.

I can't understand how the MQL5 VPS is cheap at $10.00

I hired a VPS for $29.90. It may seem expensive, but there I can run 10, 15, even 20 MT4/5 for the fixed price of $29.90, simultaneously.

If I were to contract from MQL, I'd have to pay $10.00 per MetaTrader. In other words, for each account I would have to hire a server.

I hired a programmer to make an EA for me and now I have to do exhaustive tests to find the best configuration.

So I need several accounts to run the tests.

If I had to use an MQL server for each account, I can run 20 or more accounts on my VPS for the same price, i.e. $29.90. In this case, MQL would cost me almost $300.00.

rfds.med:

I use two robots ordered externally. I purchased the MQL5 VPS for my MT4, but the following error occurs during the migration:

2017.02.08 11:49:16.773 Cannot call 'wininet.dll::InternetOpenW', 'wininet.dll' is not loaded

2017.02.08 11:49:16.773 WallStreet_ASIA_Evo_v1.1 USDJPY,M15: unresolved import function call

It does not load these files and the robot does not work, I have already used the robots in other VPS and it worked without problem, I migrated to the MQL5 VPS because it was cheaper 10 dollars a month.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Hello, Leandro. Could you tell us which one? It could be inbox. If it's Amazon, I've used it, tested it and liked it, but I had a problem and couldn't access my VPS anymore. And the worst thing is that the free version is unsupported, so I haven't been able to access it for a few months. I hope you don't have any real accounts there, at least I don't remember.

The paid version has support, and it's hard to find one for less than 10 usd, unless it's Linux, which I've actually found cheaper, but you have to install Wine, and even then you have to install more stuff, because the system comes raw, at least where I've contracted the service, which is paid.

If I need to open an additional chart or change EA parameters, how can I do that?

I would like to ask if become a signal provider can you provide signals with systems that are in Virtual Hosting?

Or you have to let the terminal open for traders to be copied?

Of course you can become signal provider using VPS.

Its better to do so anyway.

Adli Ishak:

I notice that on mql5 slippage tab, MQL5 will provide a list of average slippage based on execution statistics from signal's broker to subscriber's broker.

Im using tickmil with UK server and Im subscribing signal from fxopen with US server, so my slippage will be very huge if I run my server from UK, right?

Let say, if I rent MQL5's US virtual server, is that going to improve my slippage?

Its advisable to use a broker and VPS based in the country (US in your case) the signal account is based.

You can check the slippage tab of the signal you are copying to see the exact slippage values for your brokers (they are not bad in your case).

So either this thing's ultra complicated or im really dumb.. How on earth do you make the VPS server send you notifications on your phone if your computer is off.

I am trying to use my own indicator, but i can't have my comp turned on 24/5. i synchronized all, tried many times but the notifications don't get there unless the mt4 is opened visibly on my own laptop. can someone please tell me if that's possible and i didn't just waste 27$ for nothing please?

You need to enable Push Notifications in the Tools >> Options >> Notifications tab of your MT platform and then synchronize with your VPS to apply.
