i had to reinstall my mt4 platform, how do i put the virtual server back onto my live account.

So, connect your Metatrader to the trading account (trading account which is related to VPS subscription: https://www.mql5.com/en/vps/subscriptions), fill Community tab with your forum login and forum password (not by your email), and you will see your VPS.
