Suggestions- Making signals archive, instead of deleting them

Hey guys,

I'm unable to find how I can contact MQL staff to make this suggestions so I'm posting it here,

Hoping that the staff will see it,

And also to hear what you guys think about it.

BTW- using the 'Contacts and Requests' page on the bottom,

only allow me to contact support for very few specific payment issues.

So that's why I'm posting here.

Anyway-

I would like to suggest that signals could not be deleted,

But could be 'archived', making them inactive, but visible for others to see.

Unfortunately I encounter a lot of EAs here, that the author have a signal,

and when this signal 'fails' (i.e. blow account) the author just delete it and start a new signal (or doesn't start a new one at all).

A recent example that I've encountered is in the '<Deleted>' expert page.

The author post a screenshot of his signal, that has 533% profit.

However, if you check author's signals, you can see that such a signal is not available, and the only signal he has for this EA is only from 2 weeks ago.

As I've said- Unfortunately I've encountered countless of authors who are doing exactly the same.

The above is just an example as I've encountered it prior to writing this message.

In my own personal opinion it is scamming.

The author hides the fact from the users/clients that his EA/signal had been completely blown in the past.

Few points the users might arise-

1) You should always backtest any EA before buying it-

This is true.

However:

a- not everyone knows how to make a proper backtesting.

and b- backtesting does not correspond to actual market conditions (spread changes, execution times, slippage, etc') and signals can give a more complete picture of the EA, in addition to backtesting.

2) You should check the reviews before buying the EA-

Also true, but-

Reviews can be faked.

Reviews can be bought.

Reviews can be 'manipulated' by suggesting free EA or indicator when making a 5 star rating (as a lot of authors seems to do).

Although I completely agree with the above 2 points,

It doesn't change the fact the if the author hides the fact that his EA or signal had blown the account,

It is immoral, and in my own personal opinion, is scamming.

I'll glad to hear what you guys think about it,

And also if you could help me pass that to MQL staff.

Cheers.
