How do I add a stock symbol to MT5?
Sergey Golubev, 2020.10.12 14:26
If you did not find the symbol you want to trade (or the broker does not allow to trade some symbol) so you can find the other broker (because the symbols are related to the brokers).

Everything is descrived on the manual here:

Can i have the us and canadian titles on the demo version?

Any symbol is related to the broker.
It means: the brokers only can propose some symbol to trade in Metatrader so you should find the broker which is proposing what you want to trader for example.

The data feed is different per the broker.
Some brokers provide the stock market data of the right type and some don't. Some just provide the forex data feed only.
You have to do some research for it to find out which brokers provide right data feed for your trading.
Just for your information, these are all seperate entities for your trading.
1. Brokers.
2. Platform providers (MetaQuotes)
3. Indicator and EA developers.
