How to navigate/scroll the charts in MT5?

I used Tradingview, but because of the costs, i want to switch to MT5. And MT5 has a lot of advantages i experienced!
I practiced this a long time (MT5), but i cannot get used to the default scrolling thru the charts (sorry i am not English).
What i want is that the y-axe scale thus not size automatically.
So i used the setting "fixed scale".
When i move the chart it feels very strange. (like i drunk to much alcohol ;)). What a strange behaviour is this!
And when i want to resize the y-axe, by clicking on the y-axe scale, i lose the focus on the chart on my screen and i have to go there again....
What are your experiences with this?
Or am i doing something wrong.
(i have to use the "fixed scale option, because i do not get used to when the charts resize automatically)
As i said MT5 has a lot of advantages, but i cannot navigate tru the charts....
Is it possible to set mt5, so that the behaviour of scrolling the charts, is the same as in Tradingview?
