Yes, that is the same issue. I was uninstalling the old terminal and installing the new one. It still shuts off by itself after a few minutes.
The MT4 and other apps working normally.

Is it perhaps not trying to install an update and then failing for some reason (such as Antivirus)?

Look at the MetaTrader log files directly with a text editor and see if it is not trying to install an update.

 
I found out the solution..im facing the same issue in windows 10...now I'm changing the OS as windows 10 pro...now it's working fine
