Symbols not showing

Hi, I've installed meta trader 5 from the official website, and I haven't opened an account yet, but in the symbols list only 4 of them are showing. In mt4 I could see all of them. Why is that? Is it because I haven't opened a broker account? Thank you

These are the default symbols for a Metaquotes demo account I guess.

Go to MT4/5 >> View >> Symbols for more.

It is very easy to solve it: you find the Metatrader broker and open the trading account with the broker according to the broker's condition (demo or real/live trading account), and you will have the symbols to trade, and those symbols are proposing by your broker.
if your broker is not proposing some symbol to trade so you can find the other broker.

Because all the symbols are related to the brokers (together with the price on the charts, the time of the price on the charts, trading accounts and the money for trading - all of them are related to the brokers only).
