2 MQL5 accounts in MT5
One signal is per one trading account.
The other signal subscription is for the other trading account.

So kinda a weird question, but bear with me.
I'm currently logged into my MQL5 account in MT5. Assigned a signal to my trading account. Put it all on a VPS - awesome. Working great.

I want to make a separate account (for a friend), same broker, different trading account, different MQL5 account. Will the signal continue to work on both accounts if I sign in on the 2nd MQL5 account, add a signal to the account and throw it all on a VPS?

Yes, it can work, but as you say with a different MQL5 (your friend's) account.
You will need to employ a new MQL5 VPS under the new MQL5 account.
