Looking for an Indicator who pay attention to important local maximum and important local minimums...

Hello folks, do you know some indicator which output a line as the blue one on the following chart?

I drawed the blue line by hand.

the red line is a 20 period simple moving average and

the yellow line is a 4 period simple moving average

but those moving averages are not what i want because they change their slopes too many time and

I want some indicator that doesn't change the slope too much and who give me something like important local minimums and important local maximums.

It could be straigth lines between important local maximums and important local minimums (and viceversa) but if It is not straigth like in the following image (smoothed), then better.

Please take a look at the Donchian Channel indicator.

Maybe JMA.

I wonder how you can draw such line "by hand" ?

Using JMA adaptive moving average is the best way to smooth price ranges with a minimum time lag.

I think this indicator can help me angevoyageur, thank you.

I used Photoshop/Pen tool, then not exactly with hands but almost ;)

LOL

By the way, do you know some indicator which informs me about the slope of a moving average?

some kind of slope wherever?

I don't know how can I call this kind of indicators.

There is a lot of "slope" indicator in the codebase.

You're welcome! :-)

You may use a more less period and the try it on an exponential moving average
