Should a scalper care about high timeframes (H1 H4)

Hi all

if you are a scalper, trying to catch 20-50 points at a time, should you care about the High timeframe (H1-H4) trend direction?

Or just candle patterns, ATR, candle types etc. Should be more important?

 
Yes, you can use them as specific signals, or to confirm the direction of your trades. I use higher timeframes for scalping many times, but if you base your strategy only on those, maybe you just don't get as much signals.

What's important and what is not, it depends on your strategy.
