MQL5 VPS does not allow DLL.
When you synchronize your trading environment with MQL5 VPS, you can right click at your MQL5 server in the Navigator window >> Journals and check the your EAs or indicators (or signal) are running well.

Also, on your terminal, the autotrade feature - on your terminal - becomes disabled on migrating to VPS. This is because VPS has taken over the trading. Hi, once migrated to VPS, do i uncheck DLL, and how do i know that the VPS has taken over? Do i switch off my internet?
As Eleni says, check the logs, but also use your common sense. Are trades being made even though you are logged out...?
