VPS Question

I would like VPS only for continued electricity supply, internet connection and MT4's trailing stop.

1]  Does this mean I migrate only my local terminal?

2]  And out of interest, does my chosen VPS provider have full access to my terminal?

1.If you use MQL5 VPS you have to migrate the local terminal to the server, so that it takes over and so you can close the local terminal.

2.Providers always have access to their VPS.

In case you use an external provider you can set up encrypted drive and then the provider can not get to what is on that drive without the security key.

In that case you do not have to migrate, but you install the terminal onto the VPS itself.

And does a VPS (not MQL's) with only MT4's terminal on display, require much CPU and memory?
 
This depends on how many chart's / EA / Indicators you plan to use on it.
 

No charts or EA's only the terminal, as in subscribing to signals.

But I think you have answered my question, it would be very low when VPS is turned on.
