... I decided to break off completely and not write anything about MT5 anymore. Staggering bugs unsolved...
And I said... ok, let the time pass, they will solve them in the meanwhile.
I returned full of hopes this year, to see that the things are exactly, shamefully, in the same place.
The mechanism of info extraction (quotes, tick value, etc.) for any other pair than the selected one for backtesting is as tricky as ever.
Sometimes it works, other times doesn't work... There is no indication of why it works when it works, why it doesn't when it doesn't... Five wasted months and the problem is not yet solved...
Which makes me think... What happened in these months, why was this mechanism not repaired? What causes the mechanism to fail and it's so hard to point out?
