hassancmx:
I have this EA that works on 2 different brokers differently. the settings are exactly the same but each broker works differently according to the settings. in 1 broker trades differently and 2 broker trades differently and they both have exact settings. its not the spread or slippage. they execute differently on the parameters of the EA!
did it happen to anyone? can anyone knows the issue or faced something like that from before.
There may be for two reasons:
- the EA was coded on this way to perform differently (especially or some bug in EA),
- and most common reason - the data/quotes may be different for different brokers (the data is not unified).
Have any run-time errors? See logs
The run-time errors affect for sure and they are variant from broker to another broker which affect or avoid trading sometimes while nothing wrong in the opposite broker.
It's not bug if there any bug then EA will show error on both brokers accounts
The main reason is every broker has own liquidity providers and tick data so EA showing different results, It happens mostly when EA does scalping.
