Is anyone aware of any platform that allows time to be removed from the x axis? If we look at a tick chart, time distorts the tick data. There can be 5 minutes when no tick exists, and there can be 5 minutes where 1,000 ticks exist. If we squeeze the data into a time frame it will give us a different curve and thus affect any analysis we intend to do. Of course we can work in Excel and define our own X axis, but it would be nice to work inside of Tradestation, MetaTrader, or MetaStock so we can use our other indicators and analytical tools that we already have. Please help! Anyone who solves this can have our indicator for free when we are finished developing.
