Any tests ready (for stochastic smoothing)?

mntiwana Stochastic already has smoothing in it (that is the slowing parameter). Maybe some other type of smoothing (it uses the simplest smoothing). Will do some experiments with other types of smoothing

circus....we are habitual now,so now not hard for us to be patient,same as market price moves ahead and more and more further by breaking every SR/FIBO levels on its way.( it is nice as we are in buy and at the end,will give us many pips) so every night we go to bed with breaking our today expectation/presumption.. ...lol....thanks,

Hi experts and seniors,

i have few queries regarding pips and profit calculation,when we trade with 4 digit broker verses 5 digit broker with same spread in same pair at same time.

first to assume, i am trading in eurusd and broker spread is 3 pips with no commission.

my broker is 5 digit.

for example i take a buy in eurusd at = 1.12652

then close it at ............................. = 1.12699

as i count,my profit is ................... = 47

now i minus the spread .............. = 30

so now my pure profit is ............. = 17 (17 pips/dollars profit,if my account is in dollars)

now assume, i am with same broker at same time,same pair,same spread but now it is 4 digit

buy at = 1.1265

close at = 1.1269

profit= 4

spread = 3

pure profit = 1 (only 1 pip/dollar is profit)

my first question is .... spread in 4 digit broker 3 pips is equal to 30 pips in 5 digit brokerage.but we have no difference in pips and price difference in term of brokerage cost effect on profit,we have to pay/move same distance in price.as 1 digit/pip in 4 digit broker is equal to 10 pips in 5 digit broker

my second question is.....but we have a lot difference in profit.

my third question is......if there is some difference in pips values in 4 digit verses 5 digit or it is same as i assumed.

please guide and correct me with your knowledge and experience...thanks.

The difference comes from rounding

In the first case you have 17 points (not pips - it would be 1.7 pips) profit. In second case, since those are really pips, it is 1 pip. So the difference comes from 4 digit broker that rounds the prices to pips

thanks for quick help,so all in all we are gaining and losing same.....no big difference in between 4 digit verses 5 digit broker........just few extra pennies we gain or lose in 5 digit broker. thanks.

what extra freedom you see and noticed in 5 digit broker ..... if not same,we can also open close orders when needed in 4 digit....can you please explain , thanks
