Make It No Repaint Please! - page 7

I think he was taking past/present values and applying them to the future...

mladen:
You mean he was using future values too

secretcode It (the non-repainting version) was posted quite some time ago at this post : https://www.forex-tsd.com/forum/debates-discussions/116-something-interesting-please-post-here/page148#comment_545444 . It (the indicator you posted) is actually the TTF indicator that calculates T3 and some other things in a wrong way (it does things almost the same way as super signals indicator at some parts - looks for future values where in original formula it should look for past values)

I have that version too but it gives ( obviously ) quite different result then this one !

Maybe someone has made this repainting indicator just for "Feel Good" purpose

From the look at the code it seems like one more unfortunate conversion of the code from one platform t another

Hi,

Is it possible to make the following non repaint?

It is one kind of a zigzag (internally). As all peaks seeking indicators it can not be made non-recalculating

Thankyou Mladen. Appreciate you looking!

There is one simple rule of thumb : if you see an indicator precisely "identifying" peaks and throughs on chart, it is recalculating. Nothing, but nothing can identify those without recalculating / repainting.

The more it looks like grail the less it is

If one is looking for grails it is so If one is looking for a way to trade reasonably, a lot of indicators have been used successfully - it is just a matter of the overall system and how the system is built (entries, exits, MM, ... all what a strategy needs to have)

Aren't we all looking for grail? :)
