Forward testing results for
DSS3_MA EA
DSS3_filtered EA
I started to trade by DSS3_MA EA but I changed it to DSS3_filtered EA somewhere on Monday 24th (of April).
M1 timeframe.
EA with default settings is attached:
stoploss = 150
takeprofit = 70
trailingstop = 12
lotsize = 0.01
I did not check the market condition before switching EA on for the pair so it may be some drawdown because of that (we can see drawdown in dollars as the distance between blue and yellow lines on visual statement chart).
This DSS3_filtered EA is more stable version compare with DSS3_MA EA for example.
It is the profitable pairs for this version up to now.
USDJPY:
NZDJPY:
I will continue forward testing/trading for all the just to see - which pairs will be profitable for this system (and to check max floating drawdown for every pair - it may be related to lot size and to initial deposit size to be selected).
----------------
This version (DSS3_filtered EA) is good to use with market condition tool because we can use it with very small deposit size (i am using with 300 dollars), and 10 - 30 dollars in a week is not a bad anyway. But we need to create simple market condition tool based on dss ichi ...
That's all news.

Forward testing results?
Hi NewDigital,
It was two weeks ago when you posted your forward testing results for the two EAs last time. Are you busy in these days with other projects or may I interpret this as the EAs turned out as losers and you stopped the testing?
Regards,
Chrisstoff
Hi chrisstoff,
No, it was not turned off and not losers.
It is going slowly ...
I will post the statements now.

Forward testing results for
Dss Ichi_Ea
M1 timeframe.
EA with default settings is attached:
stoploss = 150
takeprofit = 12
lotsize = 0.01
This version is working with Ichimoku indicator on MTF way: 1 stoch indicator only for M1 timeframe and ichimoku indicator for market condition (using 1 of 6 market condition signals only sorry) for M5 and H4 timeframe.
Trading on M1 (EA should be attached to every M1 chart).
I used stop loss 70 and EA lost some ... after that I increased stop loss to 150 and deposit size was recovered ... after that - some more losses. So, I think - we need to use profitable pairs on for this EA (see images below).
It is Metatrader statement for all the pairs (please note - I am trading many pairs incl losing and winning ... any):
Profitable pairs for this version from the beginning up to now:
EURUSD:
GBPUSD:
NZDUSD:
and AUDCAD
Some comments:
Seems - this version can be used independently of market condition too. I mean - may be ... we do not need market condition tool for this EA.

I will post the statements now.Thank you, NewDigital. The test results are promising especially in the light of the future developments that you mentioned earlier.
Just having idea to create EA based on Tenkan Kijun system from this post:
https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/181242/page9
I will think about the rules in programming way to make it easy.
Manual Trading
Hi newdigital,
Great work with the Forum
You seem to have the power of Midas touch, whichever system you trade seems to behave like a Holy grail.
Regarding the Ichimoku, is it enough if we study the Ichimoku thread or do you have any other sources of information from the International Conference of Ichimoku(Rules).
In manual trading can you please show us how you manage a trade, like when it immediately goes back from your point of entry (but it does not reach the SL), and how you decide to take a small loss.
Can you also explain the methodology (or how you decide) of when to let the profits run and when to take a small profit.
(There seems to be a small problem in the forum, from the past 4-5 days when i try to click the next page button it is showing the message “Access is Denied” this problem is occurring infrequently. Once if this problem occurs i will not be able to view any more pages for a couple of hours)
Regards
Hi krvthj,
As to Ichimoku and other ideas so MrTools in on the way to create market condition tool for it, and once it will be done so we all will test it and will move all the ideas forward.
I am thinking now about this idea:
https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/181242/page9 - it was explained everything on the post about rules and so on.
I am thinking only about the rules for codes:
- buy and sell on Tenkan (red color)/Kijun (blue color) crossing;
- confirmation of buy or sell using Senkou Span B (white color on my template) line - if price is above this line on close/previous bar - it is confirmation for buy, opposite for sell. All signals above this line on the chart is for buy, below this line on the chart - for sell trades only.
- exit ... stop loss 50 pips, and exit/close all open trades if the price will cross Senkou Span B line on close/previous bar for opposite confirmation, and (optional as false or true) - exit on opposite unconfirmed signal, optional as false or true - use take profit or not ....
- re-enter as false or true (with same exit as described) limited by Maxorders = 3 or 5 by default.
So, it is what I used - we are having several ways for exit, and very simple entry: if we can crossing for buy and it is above this white line (Senkou Span B) - we will open buy order, if we have sell above this line - we will ignore. Opposite for sell.
There is some other idea to use counter trend martingale instead of stop loss = 50. I mean - use it on the same way as for DayTrading EA or Fireburd EA. I mean - if we have buy crossing on buy area (above Senkou Span B) so we will open buy. But if the price is going against us (and no any "total closing all the trades" for price will cross Senkou Span B line for opposite confirmation) - we can open open additional trade on counter trend (sell trade) instead of stop loss.
But it may be next improvements.
So, I am thinking about the rules for now because this kind of EA may be profitable (I hope).
