The X alerts is what I mean. They are not popping up when you select the Exit Alerts mode only. The X alerts do pop up, along with the arrows when the Trend mode is selected. But when you switch the Trend alerts off and leave the Exit Alerts on, the Xs appear on the chart but no alerts are popping up. I know this indy repaints and sometimes the arrows turn to Xs, disappear and reappear but the Xs seem to be more reliable. Hope you can isolate them from the arrows.
Weird because I tried it with trend mode off and x mode on and immediately got the x alert to the point of being annoying
.But will keep watching awhile.
ps) to add sure you're aware this is a zigzag type indicator and really not suitable for alerts or signals for that matter, probably shouldn't have ever put the alerts on it in the first place.

Hi, mladen, mrtools and other specialists. I find the SMI (Stochastic Momentum Index) very helpful, better than the normal Stochastic. The SMI is a little bit smoother.
Can anyone make a alert and arrows for this version, if the two lines of the SMI crossing? Thanks you!

smi_osma.mq4Hi Sgvg23, added the alerts and arrows, had to use a different version because of buffer limitation, but the results are the same.Also if you want the osma histo larger there is an osmaMultiplier, if you leave it as 1 it will be as normal, greater than 1 will make it larger.
