Strategy FA CF and Virtual Arbitrage use different input

 

EURUSD pair no trades for today

Hello bolshoi.

I subscribed yesterday to your FA CF system and I noticed the EURUSD pair is the most profitable among the four majors you trade.

Unfortunately, today I saw you didn't trade that pair at all and I also noticed this happened other two times in the past (on 2nd and 6th of July): well, could you, please, explain me why you don't trade a certain pair at all (EURUSD in this case) during the entire session, from time to time?

Hehe, it's really quick to catch the results.

I have run the signal for just a few hours on a MRC demo and on a FXOpen demo (I'm pleased with my FXOpen accounts usually ...). Time frame was something like 5-6 hours and there has been 25 trades :

FXOpen (only 16 trades opened) : $34 profit

MRC (only 22 trades opened) : $380 profit

Original signal profit (rough estimate) is $420-480 for the same time frame.

The difference between MRC demo and original is due to RAS latency which is not suited for scalping systems. However, in this case, this is something that can still be acceptable (for me at least). Difference with FXOpen is mainly due to this *large* price gap between MRC and others.

It's obvious MRC price is *really* not the same as other borkers. From what I've seen, difference vary from 0 to more than 15 pips at some point in time. I would *love* to open inter-broker trades .

Signal providers : it's important to share your broker so people can compare. If Bolchoi hadn't stated his broker name in the description, I would not have tested and found this difference. I would probably just have blamed RAS latency . And I would have give up ...

OK. Even with MRC from time to time the signal has up to 4-6 pips slippage. When it happens on both open and close price, it means you can close a trade with -5 to -10 pips while the original signal closes it between 0 and +5.

Overall, it stills makes money, but no so much. We're far from the performance of the original.
