That is interesting to know, thank you. How can indicators like the Holy Channel fill the areas then? It should be possible... Or indis that show resistance/support zones? Can something like that be done for a BB indi?
Histogram can be used (like here : https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/178821 but the result will never we as smooth as when fill is used
Like the ma_ribbon_filled.mq4 in this post https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/178821 - if that was possible, that would be useful. At least worth a try... With the ibbfill indi there are occasional gaps too. Can always run a separate BB indi to show the bands in case that happens. it's usually only for one or two candle width, so not a big deal.

We do not use that type of colored line drawing for a long time - that type of drawing is repainting (check the parts when the macd is in a flat periods) and I would not like to port a repainting mode to metatrader 5 - there is absolutely no need for that). You can use any correctly coded and correctly drawing macd that already exists
