Hi Newdigital.. I was reading your last performance posts and I see that results show the EA strategy as "Risk" even with the low drawndown by now.. is it really a high risk EA ?
Good luck
Thank you

Thank youNot high but risky.
Any scaler is risky. But it is martingale scalping.
As to about this word "Risk" and so on - read the following posts to udnerstand:

=======
To make it shorter:
It is based on Igorad's research:
SPF = DD_Factor * Nact_Factor * Nlot_Factor
where
- DD_Factor = Drawdown Factor (based on equity)
- Nlot_Factor = Lot Size Factor
- Nact_Factor = Active Trades Factor.
DD_Factor = 100*(1  DD(pips)/Total(pips));
DD_Factor could be negative value (or not ralking) if DD > Total for very high risk EAs without Stops or with huge Stops.
Nact_Factor = 1/Nact;
This factor (if below 1) - indicates hedge and/or martingale EAs with some big number of active trades.
Nlot_Factor = min_Nlot/max_Nlot.
This factor (if below 1) - indicates martingale signals with big lots sizes started with small lot sizes.
Basicly, if SPF is above zero (0) so the EA is not risky for this pair (in general point of view). If below 0 or not ranking, so this EA is risky for this pair. Why? Because of drawdown factor, or lot size factor, or active trades factor.
Max value of SPF is 100. Negative value of SPF - risky or losing performance for this pair.
It is possible to estimate/evaluate the systems/strateries/EAs based on this SPF in this way. At least we can say: it is risky to trade this pair, or not, and why.
============
More shorter:
Because of drawdown factor, or lot size factor, or active trades factor.
===========
More shorter:
in our case - in case of Polifyt EA:
- download factor is not ranking because trades are open for the short time (small drawdown).
- lot size factor is not good - if min lot size is 0.01 so max lot size will be 0.66
So, because of that - risky.
I mean: if you expect that EA will use 0.01 lot size all the time so ... it is wrong. EA can use lot size 0.66 sometimes (it is the max which I had - lot size 0.66) as it is martingale anyway.
So, what to do?
Use profitable pairs only (the pairs which I am trading and uploading the results to).
Ho okay, thank you.
I see you are using version 1.59, are you getting better results with this version than with last versions like 1.60 or 1.73 ?
Best regards

Best regardsEA is complicated by coding and very complicated to find good profitable setting.
Once I found it so I stopped searching and start to trade. It was with the version 1.59.
I think - same setting may be for the other version.
I mean: the settings is the key here.
Okay great.. I will try 1.59 with your sets and the best pairs. Is the .set link updated with your last changes ?
Thank you
