Hi ND,
I am running the EA v1.60a with the same settings as you did. I noticed that the martingale is not functioning as it is. In your settings, the loss ratio = 1000, MGPipStep = 9 but when the trend is the reversing, it does not open another new trades even though the price exceeded 9 pips in the reversing trends. Can you advise what is going wrong? Is it because of the loss ratio?
Yes, loss ratio.
I see that martingale is not working when the price is out of bands of the indicator (loss ratio is something related to the bands). I think - if it is impossible to fix so it is better to use loss ratio = 0.
Default loss ratio = 0 - it will close orders if they are losing as soon as they are out of the bounds of the polifit bands indicator.
1000 would mean that it will multiply the polyfit bands range with 1000 add it to band and if the price is out of that value then it will close.

If we are trading by starting lot size =0.01 so the open drawdown for now is the following for the versions:
- no more than 400 dollars for v1.60a (for all the pairs all together) - right now on the account,
- about 700 dollars for v1.59 risky settings (for all the pairs traded) - right now on the account,
- about 340 dollars for v1.59 moderate settings (for all the pairs too) - right now on the account,
- and 64 dollars for v1.61_noHedge version (for all the pairs together) - right now on the account,
- and 5 dollars for v1.7.3 nohedge moderate settings - it was some time ago but all the trades were closed.
Seems, v1.7.3 may be more stable but this version is not trading often - I had 4 trades since 22 of June (2 for GBPUSD and 2 for EURCHF - all in profit).
If you are trading with started minimum lot size =0.1 so it may be good to set loss ratio to 0 (otherwise you will have big drawdown).

Dear ND,
I reckoned from your recent posted statements, I noticed on those open trades. If you look at the order number, it has been altered from 77 to 78 to 79. It means the magic number may be different and those open trades with order number starting 77 and 78 may not be managed by the EA properly now. Martingale may not be working rightly. I may be wrong on the assumption of order number but perhaps it is worth looking into it or we need to adjust the lossratio.
It is same magic number.
At least - it should be the same (I used 1 EA to attach to every chart).
I hope that PolyFitScalper_v1.7.3 EA does not have this problem (at least - I do not see this problem with this version).
