GBPUSD:

BUY

If the price breaks through the level 1.55883 bullish movement will start. Targets of the bullish movement: 1.56766, 1.57638.

SELL

If the price breaks through the level 1.54700 bearish movement will start. Targets of the bearish movement: 1.53170.

 

In this case one could say that there were no surprises at all. The surprise would be if there were surprises. After a brief breakout EURUSD retreated in the zone bounded with the trend lines (and support and resistance) from the last 7-8 months, so there is nothing new regarding this (except that it seems that the breakout was not planed, and that was the reason for intervention to make it "go back in the safe zone").

As it is now, we are probably looking at a support test somewhere next week, but that mainly depends on G20 meeting now.
