The GBP/USD Pair is below the Yesterday's Highs
Having reached the highs at 1.5730, the pound/dollar failed to develop an upward trend. As a result, the bulls had to retreat to the level of 1.5640, which is still holding back the bears' onslaught. Then, the pair then rolled back up to the level of 1.5690. The euro decrease in the cross-rate with the British currency supported the pound/dollar once again, thus the losses of the pair were not as ambitious as of the euro/dollar. Nevertheless, a possible euro/dollar's decrease is able to provoke a deeper drop of the pound and in case of the loss of the current support, it is wise to expect the rate's drop to 1.5600 — 1.5560. The RSI came into the overbought zone on the daily chart.
