Have you folks considered moving this great discussion to a chat format instead of a messageboard thread?
The problem with a thread is that you have to keep refreshing the page to get the latest posts. And when time is of the essence that may not be very convenient. In a chat format the messages would pop-up in real time.
I'm thinking of an IRC channel. It would be very easy to setup. An additional bonus would be that you can see exactly how many 'viewers' you really have
