just a thought: If you really want to use M1, use longer timeframes as a filter because M1 is very random.
It is my reply as admin of this forum:

As simple trader I can say that I like asctrend M1 system https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/173249 and Scalp_net system (M1 as well) https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/172958
It is my opinion as simple member of this forum.
As to asctrend M1 so ... I traded it on demo and live but I stopped because i did not have time to moderate the forum sorry. I am still planning to re-animate this M1 system to explain everything. It is public thread.
As to Scalp_net ... it was my idea ... may be ... does not matter because this EA does not have my own copywrite at all ... I coded it using some free coding tools (bought this tool for 10 dollars ... because I am not a coder really by profession. And finally Igorad helped me to make version #1.3 with timetilter which is very profitable withing 8-18 GMT time since January 2006 forward testing (elite members know it) - for EURUSD only.
But it is always good manual trading system here https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/172958
I simple asked Igorad to create EA for this very simple system, then I attached it to the chart (EURUSD, M1) in 2006 and never de-attached. And do you know? I received the proof that very simple systems can be profitable for many years without the settings changing!
Sorry for emotional reply.
