Why don't you simply use trailing stop?

it cuts profits..i like my orders to be able to breathe

talking of that..is there some sort of EA i can use that will move it to breakeven after say 5 pips in profit?

Every exit is cutting profits (it is not possible to find the optimal exit the same way as it is not possible to find the optimal entry). It is just a matter what is profitable on the long run
