had anyone tried FXDD with x0.01 lot?
it seems EA won't open any if it starts with x0.01 in FXDD mt4. no problem with x0.1.
any input?
Well, most likely it's because my broker quotes all prices to five decimal places. I tried the simulation on another installation of the platform with similar results. I use build 217. All other programs are functioning normally. I opened a new demo with FXDD and it worked (prices are quoted to four decimal places). It should be possible to modify the EA to work with my broker's quotes.

Absolutely brilliant EA in its current form, I used Blessing 1 with mixed sucess. But this version is absolutely fantastic.
Why's this thread suddenly died in wake of this great EA?
can some sort of hedge be built with this strategy , the EA opening too many lots is scary. I think a good hedge after the 3 level can be much comfortable.
any ideas
I think pipmaker v15.1 is a great alternative to this if you prefer hedging.
Blessing2 doing great
The returns in just a few days have been beyond my expectations.
Over $800 in three days, on two non-volatile pairs, with a $5K mini.
Of course, I have this deep-down feeling that a blow-up is just
around the corner. My concern is that it is trading pretty big lots.
I've been seeing quite a few pending orders sitting between 4-6 lots.
Anyone out there test this EA for an extended period of time? Any
blow-outs? How many pairs on what size account? I'd like to put
this on a live account, but can't seem to gather enough courage
as of yet.

Will need to change some settings...

RobWell, it's always a good idea to check the advisor properties. Apparently,
I must have mistakenly reset it to defaults, which utilizes .2 initial lots,
which is way too big for a $5K account. Live and learn.

Changing the lot size towards the direction of the trend
This is my second time posting to this forum. I've actually put this comment in the v1+v2mini thread but can't get a response from anybody. I'll put it here and see what you guys think. I'm not sure if this makes sense but can someone (maybe fifthelement) program this ea a little different from what it's doing now. Why aren't the lots increased towards the trend. Example:
buy .1 and sell .1 -- buy takes profit because it's an uptrend
now we have
buy .1 and sell .1 + sell .2 -- again buy takes profit because of an uptrend
now we have
buy .2 and sell .1 + sell .2 + sell .4 --buy of .2 takes profit and keeps trending up
now we keep increasing the buy
buy .4 and sell .1 + sell .2 + sell .4 and sell .8 and so on
keeping the winning trade lot size increasing but always half of the highest losing trade side.
But as soon as the trend reverses, the ea must close ALL buy and sell orders and it will still be in profit instead of a loss.
There are many benefits to this style of trading instead of the original one. If someone can try this and revive this ea and maybe even the v1+v2mini which is what I've had much success with. Thank you.
Karlo.
