I'm pretty sure it was just luck. I used the defaults so I was opening 5-lot positions with a $10000 account and with no stop loss. No one would do that in real life.
Anyway it's just a MACD crossover system, not much different from MACD Sample that comes with Metatrader. It compares the main and signal lines for the current bar and the bar just before it and gives the buy, sell and close signals when there's a crossover.
