This is Newstrader_v5.3ecn works now on Ecn brokers and extra digit brokers.
Hi guys, i tested this ECN version from my PC at home on a 5 digit ECN broker and saw it doesn't open pending orders?? Instead it only opens market orders on different order levels.
Is this working like intended?

If we are talking about ecn version so it is my statement for FXCM (attached):
I am trading non-ecn version with alpari (just to compare).
Yes, ecn version is working slightly different but i think - it is because enc rules (no hedge and so on).

I am using VPS too ... so about DEP (if it is the problem):
right-click on My Computer - select properties - advanced tab - performance - settings - data execution prevention. Exclude MT4 terminal.exe from DEP.
And it may be good to have 32 bit windows ...
High impacted news events only, NewsTrader_v5.3 EA, Alpari broker, nfp settings - in 4 digit pips.

(for EURUSD).
nfp settings is the settings to trade high impacted news events only (MaxRating = 3 and MinRating = 3 too).
3 means: high impacted news events in tsd calendar.
And magic number should be different for every pair.
And very important thing: Currency Filter in the settings.
For example, for EURUSD - EA will trade the news for EUR and for USD (should be true - see it on the images on this post).
For GBPUSD: trade GBP and USD news.
For USDCHF: trade CHF, EUR and USD news.
For USDJPY: trade JPY, EUR and USD news.
For AUDUSD: trade AUD news only.
For USDCAD: trade CAD news only.
For NZDUSD: trade NZD news only.
CNY high impacted news events - it will be traded by any apir as I know (no need to change anything as no any settings for this currency for now in EA's input).

and the settings for USDCAD is slightly different from the other pairs:
TimeGap=5
OrderDuration=15
PendOrdGap=100
OrdersStep=100
DelOpposite=0
TrailOpposite=1
TakeProfit=1000
TrailingStop=1000
InitialStop=300
BreakEven=150
All those settings for non-ecn version.
For ecn version of the EA - use numbers in pips instead of points: example - TakeProfit=100 instead of 1000

If you are talking about trading the forex news calendar so our tsd forex news calendar is good as a forex news provider
By the way - FF forum calendar is good as well (this FF calendar is more developed than our tsd calendar). But our calendar can be traded by our free Newstrader EAs. And their FF calendar can be used on the way as this very good indicator ...
So, decide by yourself - it depends on what you want to receive from news data feed.
